Dr. Donelan and his family are natives of South Dakota. Both he and his wife grew up on family farms (row crops and beef cattle production). He joined
Minnesota Pathologists Chartered (MPC) in 2011 and enjoys all facets of pathology. He now resides outside Willmar with his wife and four children. In his spare time he enjoys high school sports including football and hockey, boating (wakeboarding / wakesurfing) with the family, hunting, gardening and maple syrup production, home improvement projects, and spending time outdoors.
