CentraCare eClinic is your 24/7 online care option for minor illnesses and injuries. Our clinicians are available to diagnose, recommend treatment and prescribe needed medications online 24/7. You get quality care on your time from one of our clinic’s trusted, board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants.

  • Allergies
  • Cold, sinus Infection, Influenza (Flu) or COVID
  • Stomach problems
  • Eye, ear and mouth problems
  • Common female bladder or vaginal yeast infections

Q: Who can use CentraCare eClinic?

A: Clinicians can diagnose, recommend treatment and prescribe medication for all adults and children age 2 and older.

Anyone over 18 can create an eClinic account. You also can add adult dependents and minor children to your account. Visits for minor children must be completed by a parent.

Q: When is an eClinic visit not the right choice?

A: You should not use eClinic if you are experiencing an emergency including, but not limited to: Severe or unusual chest pain, sever shortness of breath, symptoms of a stroke (such as facial drooping, arm weakness, or speech difficulties, thoughts of harming yourself or others. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to an emergency room immediately.

Q: Can I get a prescription?

A: If clinically appropriate, eClinic clinicians are licensed and able to prescribe certain medications as part of your care plan. They do not prescribe pain medications narcotics and eClinic is not an online pharmacy. Any prescribed medications will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice.

Q: How do I start an eClinic visit?

A: You will set up an account using your basic contact details including an email address. Once you’ve confirmed your account via email, you can start your visit.

You will be asked a series of questions about how you are feeling and the symptoms you are experiencing. After you submit your answers, a clinician will review them and respond to you within 60 minutes.

Q: How much does an eClinic visit cost?

A: Online interviews are $45. You can pay with a credit card or a health savings account (HSA) card. Depending on your employer or insurance, CentraCare eClinic may be provided at a reduced rate. Check with your employer to see if you qualify.

You may submit your receipt to your insurance company, but we cannot guarantee you will be reimbursed.

Medicare patients are welcome to use CentraCare eClinic; however, your eClinic visit is not currently reimbursable.

Q: What if you can't provide a diagnosis?

A: We do our best to treat you online, but not every condition can be treated via CentraCare eClinic. If your health concern cannot be addressed through CentraCare eClinic, you may be directed to a clinic for care. If this is the case, you will not be charged for your eClinic visit.
