Intestinal Disorders:

  • Esophageal motility disorders (e.g. achalasia, esophageal spasm)

  • Gastroparesis (delayed emptying of the stomach)

  • Stricture dilation (e.g. esophageal, pyloric, duodenal)
  • Esophageal and duodenal stent placement
  • Botulinum toxin injection therapy (e.g. achalasia)
  • Colonoscopy
  • EUS (endoscopic ultrasonography)
  • ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)
  • Wireless small bowel video capsule endoscopy
  • Intraoperative endoscopy

A certified gastroenterology registered nurse provides case management (coordination, tracking and support of patients) throughout their treatment process. Services provided include:

  • Infusion therapy (e.g. Remicade for inflammatory bowel disease)
  • Care and monitoring of patients with Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C
  • Esophageal motility including impedance manometry
  • 24-hour ambulatory pH & impedance testing for suspected gastroesophageal reflux
  • Performance of wireless small bowel video capsule endoscopy

Direct booking without consultation is available for most endoscopic procedures, esophageal motility, 24-hour ambulatory pH and impedance and capsule endoscopy.
