    What I Do
As a nurse practitioner in cardiology, I strive to deliver the best care to every patient every day. I think it is important to listen to all concerns and involve the patient in the plan of care. I focus on three main areas of cardiovascular health: prevention, detection and therapy/treatment. While medications are often an important part of therapy and treatment, I also like to focus on lifestyle factors that can help with both prevention and treatment of disease. I care for patients with a variety of cardiac needs including rhythm problems like atrial fibrillation, heart failure, coronary artery disease and heart valve problems.

    Why I Love My Work
I love my job! Every day I get to meet with patients of all different ages from a variety of backgrounds. People share their stories with me, and I feel privileged to hear these stories. Helping patients understand their cardiac problems and finding the best way to help them feel better is so rewarding.

    Getting to Know Me
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to travel, hike and read.
