CentraCare and Carris Health care givers have been working around the clock for more than 20 months to care for you, your families and friends during COVID. We are committed to caring for every Minnesotan who needs us, and nothing will prevent us from doing so – even during these never-seen-before times.

The challenge of providing this level of care is that our hospital beds are often full. ERs in all of our hospitals are packed. And our clinical teams are exhausted. Early in the pandemic, our community stepped up in amazing ways to helps us. We ask that you again join us in fighting this pandemic together.

Carris Health Welcomes Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Amber Johnson

Amber Johnson, RN, WHNP, joins the Carris Health Obstetrics and Gynecology team this month in our Willmar main clinic.

Amber is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with areas of interest including well-woman care, adolescent to menopausal gynecological health, prenatal and postpartum care, sexual health and contraceptive counseling, menopausal symptom management, and gynecological cancer surveillance.

She earned her BS in Nursing from Bemidji State University and went on for her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Women’s Health from Regis College in Weston, MA.

Amber comes to the Willmar area with more than eight years of experience providing direct patient care on a postpartum and gynecology surgical floor. In her most recent position, she served as a nurse practitioner with a Gynecology/Oncology clinic.

Join us in welcoming Amber to Carris Health and to the Willmar community where she’ll serve our patients.
