Carris Health Foundation names new Board Chair

Carris Health Foundation has recently named Brad Schmidt as 2021/2022 Board Chair on their Board of Directors.

Brad Schmidt has been on the Board of Directors since 2014, serving on the Planned Giving Council, Grant Committee, and Executive Committee as Secretary and Vice-Chair. Brad has been an attorney for over 30 years and works at Johnson, Moody, Schmidt & Kleinhuizen P.A. He enjoys singing, reading, cross-country skiing, hunting, and fishing. He and his wife, Cheryl, live in Willmar and have three adult children.

Brad takes the helm as Board Chair to replace Mick Quinn, who recently completed his nine-year term. Mick served on the Board of Directors for the Rice Health/Carris Health Foundation since 2012, and through his tenure, provided leadership as a finance committee member, Secretary, Treasurer, and Board Chair. He has been with State Farm Insurance for 22 years and lives in Willmar with his wife, Chloe, and their four children.
