CentraCare and Carris Health care givers have been working around the clock for more than 20 months to care for you, your families and friends during COVID. We are committed to caring for every Minnesotan who needs us, and nothing will prevent us from doing so – even during these never-seen-before times.

The challenge of providing this level of care is that our hospital beds are often full. ERs in all of our hospitals are packed. And our clinical teams are exhausted. Early in the pandemic, our community stepped up in amazing ways to helps us. We ask that you again join us in fighting this pandemic together.

Carris Health Welcomes Psychologist Jennifer Flinn

Beginning in March 2019, Psychologist Dr. Jennifer Flinn joins our comprehensive health care team in the Redwood clinic. She will also see patients one day a week in the Willmar Skylark Clinic location.

Dr. Flinn graduated with her B.A. in Psychology from the College of St. Benedict and went on to earn her masters and doctoral degrees in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, Graduate School of Professional Psychology.

She has provided psychological services in a variety of settings, including a medical clinic and hospital with both inpatient and outpatient services, a college counseling center, a community based mental health center, a child guidance center, the International Diabetes Center, and a private practice.

She has a passion for providing behavioral health care to patients with a variety of concerns such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment, relational concerns, personality disorders, life stressors, parenting concerns, exploration around gender and/or sexuality, interpersonally functioning, eating and body image concerns, and identity formation. Additionally, she has experience providing a range of psychological testing and evaluations for learning disorders (IQ and achievement), pre-bariatric surgery screenings and personality functioning.

Dr. Flinn grew up in southwestern Minnesota and is pleased to return to the area with her husband and children. When Dr. Flinn is not caring for patients she enjoys cooking, back-packing, running, down-hill skiing, and spending time with her family at the lake.
